Chester Women's Aid has been a registered charity since 1976. They named themselves Chester Women's Aid because at the time women were more likely to experience domestic abuse and so they needed more support. But now they are a charity who support anyone and everyone experiencing domestic abuse unable to access statutory sources of funding. They support these people by providing emergency grants. Their aim is also to raise awareness of domestic abuse and its severity and during these tough times they have been struggling to do so which is why we are donating all proceeds from our event to Chester Women's Aid.
